If you are anything like me you are crasy about Tablet devices. I just love these things and know they will change the way we interact with the Internet. In the beginning I thought it would be a waste of money to have something that is not quite a notebook, but way to big to be a phone.
Today I stand corrected – I am officially converted to the Tablet “must have” phase in my life. I decided to have a look what is available out there and thought I would give you all an idea of what would be the best deal out there. All contacts are 24 months and are available at the respective Service Provider or through companies like Autopage. Have a look what I came up with and give me some feedback if anything was missed:
Motorola Xoom Tablet
Vodacom – R379 /month, including 500MB data per month for 24 months (best deal)
Cell C – R349 /month, including 200MB data per month for 24 months
Samsung Galaxy Tablet P1000 – 7″
MTN – R299 /month, including 2GB data per month for 24 months (best deal)
Vodacom – R279 /month, including R135 airtime per month for 24 months & 100MB for 3 months
Cell C – R199 /month on the Cell C Casualchat 100 contract
Samsung Galaxy Tablet 10.1″ (P7500)
Vodacom – R329 /month, including 500MB data per month for 24 months (best deal)
Cell C - R369 /month, including 200MB data per month for 24 months
HTC Flyer Tablet
MTN – R349 /month, including 300MB data per month for 24 months
Vodacom – R269 /month, including R135 airtime per month for 24 months & 100MB for 3 months
Blackberry Playbook 16GB + R201 Router
Vodacom – R399 /month, including 500MB data per month for 24 months (exclusive to Vodacom)
As you can see we have a nice variaty of Tablets available in the market currently. Its a pity we cant get the Apple iPad 2 on a contract through any service provider. They probably sell enough of the Apple iPad 2′s in the Apple stores and don’t need the extra sales. Its still the most beautiful device out there and I would love to get my hands on one
Fo now I am settling with my Samsumg P1000 7″ Tablet, although I thing the 10.1″ Samsung will be my next target. I read a tweet the other day and must say it was so truu – “If it cannot fit in yout pocket, it might as well be big”
Don’t forget to send me a tweet if you want me to look at anthing specific – @nico_success
Happy shopping!!
